Kitten Talk 18: Squirting 101 💖

Today's topic is about squirrtttinnnggg~

Yes squirting.

To be honest I didn't really know what squirting was until like college? I feel it got popular in pornography around that time and everyone was talking about it. I saw some uh videos and was like okay this is - interesting.

We all know that men -or people born with a penis ejaculate, but I feel we never looked at female orgasms in the same way.

Ejaculate meaning based off Google : eject semen from the body at the moment of sexual climax.

Doesn't sound like a definition for women / those with vulvas.

I can get into a whole spiel how female sexuality hasn't been given its fully due research but that's a topic for another day.

So what is squirting?

Squirting is when urine and other secretions are ejected during an orgasm with a person that has a vulva.

Experts have actually made a distinction between female ejaculation and squirting.

Female ejaculation is a viscous white fluid that is thought to come from the Skene's gland. The skene gland is named after Alexander Johnston Chalmer, a British- American gynecologist and was a founding member of the American Gynecological Society. The skene glands are on either side of the urethra ( where urine comes out) which help lubricate the vagina during sexual activity and protect it from certain infections. They are about the size of blueberries but can vary for each person ( skene glands are only present in female assigned at birth bodies) Skene glands are sometimes referred as the " female prostate". Female ejaculation consists of glucose, fructose, creatinine ( similar to male ejaculation without the sperm) and other secretions.

Squirting is a more clear watery liquid and is believed to come from the bladder ( its debated) It releases more liquid than ejaculation and it consists of urea( urine), creatinine, uric acid ( diluted urine) and prostate specific antigen. Studies have been done to see what causes squirting , some say g-spot stimulation but the true mechanism is not known. And some say there really is no difference between ejaculation and squirting.

Online I have seen people ( mainly women) talk about squirting and how they try and can't seem to do it. They feel bad and ashamed.

I feel a lot of time we may use porn as this " blue print" of being the ideal sexual partner. And this isn't to drag on porn ( though there is a lot of issues surfacing about it , I can make another post about it some other time) but porn to me is more so for fantasy / theatrical and shouldn't be taken as real life. It doesn't make you less desirable because you can't squirt or do this or that move.

At the end of the day great sex comes from communication, vulnerability and being open minded anyway. Don't feel ashamed you can't do this or that and if your partner(s) make you feel less than the beautiful being you are, I would consider better ones.

Here's some quick tips I found online on how to squirt ( and again it may take practice or it may not happen- it doesn’t mean anything about you)

1. You can use a " come hither " motion with your fingers two inches deep into your vagina. The G-Spot would feel rough and spongey as you're aroused. You can also use toys that are designed to hit the G-Spot.

2. If you have a partner, you can do " doggy style" which gives access to the G-spot.

Kittens, I hope you all enjoyed this read ! I hope to always give valuable information because everyone deserves access to sexual education.

Until next time.

XOXO Brianna
