Mental Health Update + Business Talk
Hey Kittens !!
I know, I know it's been a minute since our last blog post. Forgive me !!!
The reason for this post is I wanted to give a little update on some stuff.
Lately you may have noticed I have not been very active as much as I have been before.
I started a new job- a great job actually. I manifested a whole job that I feel secure in and have amazing people I work with- but it does take majority of my time.
And also mentally, I have been in a bit of a cacoon, trying to figure things out - thus I tend to get burned out.
This post is mainly me telling you guys I been absent due to busyness and stress LOL.
But in all seriousness, I want to say I am no different than any of you, and that I too go through things and get burned out and even seem to disappear at times. I'm a big advocate for mental health and taking care of yourself.
Not everyday in my opinion should be work work work. You shouldn't feel you're in a hamster wheel. Running and spinning and running and spinning but seem stagnant and that you're not going anywhere? Yeah.
Then its time to unplug. To sit down and spend time with yourself. Lately I been doing such that and journaling, meditating and talking to my therapists/coaches. I removed myself from any energies I feel keep me stagnant and downwards. I realize I have lots of thoughts and perspectives about certain things that I realize need change and healing. That won't come if I focus on outside distractions including people.
How can you try to be happy when you cling onto the sadness?
We can't say we want one thing but bash it the next. We have to be clear on what we want and deserve. And knowing what you deserve- especially rest, is important.
But besides all that, I intend to be more present, no just for me but also you guys. You should expect more blog posts ! You guys already have given me amazing ideas so i can't wait to get back on here and share !
